The Hip Tool is designed to stabilize bone graft within the femoral head after endoscopically guided core decompression and thorough debridement for AVN. Stabilization of bone graft allows early postoperative passive range of motion to facilitate cartilage nutrition. Stabilization of bone graft allows more extensive debridement of the femoral head consistent with the removal of its avascular burden.
Implant angles are 125° to 140°.
The implant can be easily removed if hardware removal is ever required.
The TSY Shoulder Plate
The Trans-Scapular Y (TSY) Shoulder Plate is designed to stabilize bone graft within the humeral head after endoscopically guided core decompression and thorough debridement for AVN. Stabilization of bone graft allows early postoperative passive range of motion to facilitate cartilage nutrition. Stabilization of bone graft allows more extensive debridement of the humeral head consistent with the removal of its avascular burden.
Implant angles are 130° to 140°.
Direct elevation of the joint surface can be easily achieved. See video.
The implant can be easily removed if hardware removal is ever required.
